Mechanical Engineer

About This Role

Design, develop, build, and test mechanical devices and systems, applying principles from mechanics, thermodynamics, and hydraulics. This role involves developing improvements to mechanical processes and overseeing the creation of CAD project drawings.

Responsibilities

• Identify deficiencies in mechanical processes and develop improvements
• Design and develop prototypes
• Analyze and test prototypes and each revision of a device
• Supervise the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
• Develop, initiate, and manage all phases of projects
• Apply theory and principles of mechanical design to modify, test, and develop centrifugal pumps, pump components, and systems
• Produce approval drawings as per internal and customer specifications
• Produce drawings and models based upon current engineering projects
• Create new or revised bill of materials as per internal or customer specifications

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
