Mechanical Engineer II

About This Role

This role is for a Mechanical Engineer II responsible for designing and developing hybrid vehicle electrical/battery charging systems, as well as mechanical and electrical components for OEM integration of proprietary products, contributing to the overall mission of revolutionizing the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Concept and develop mechanical/electrical components and systems, including weldments, stampings, laser cut parts, and bonding of components.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product verification and validation teams, and suppliers to create efficient and cost-effective designs.
• Document the design solution required for production and product validation testing.
• Work with 3D modeling software such as Creo and SolidWorks for components, sheet metal, hydraulic or electrical routings, wire harnesses, and schematics.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 to 5 years related experience
