Mechanical Engineer

About This Role

Lead the full mechanical design lifecycle of advanced liquid cooling products for data centers and edge computing, focusing on innovative mechanical and thermal design to enable higher power density.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design efforts across the full product lifecycle: requirements, design, development, integration, and validation
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models, drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
• Lead and mentor junior mechanical engineers
• Design and analyze sheet metal and weldment-based systems
• Partner cross-functionally with electrical, operations, and manufacturing teams
• Support component selection (motors, pumps, fans, electromechanical devices)
• Lead or contribute to FMEA, root cause analysis, and design improvements
• Apply DFM / DFS principles to optimize cost, quality, and serviceability
• Support production release and coordination with OEM/manufacturing partners

Requirements

• 7+ years of mechanical product development experience
• Strong SolidWorks proficiency (part modeling, assemblies, drawings)
• Deep experience with sheet metal design and weldments
• Understanding of electro-mechanical systems
• Experience with heat transfer and thermal considerations
• Hands-on experience selecting pumps, motors, and related components
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 7+ years of mechanical product development experience
