About This Role

The Meat Cutter 1 at El Super #5 will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products according to company standards for display and customer orders. This role involves working with both hand tools and power equipment, as well as interacting with customers for special requests.

Responsibilities

• Break, cut, and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment
• Ensure meat products meet prescribed variety, size, quantity, and trim standards
• Prepare meat for display or customer special orders
• Work with customers to take special orders
• Collaborate with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to identify items needing cutting

Requirements

• Ability to perform very heavy lifting
• Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods
