MCIS Trainer

About This Role

The MCIS Trainer will deliver formal and informal information system operator training and over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing individual and simulation training at various echelons for the defense and federal sector.

Responsibilities

• Conducts both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training event.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes individual MCIS and simulation training at squad to corps echelons.
• Performs classroom setup, networking of systems and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable MCIS.
• Executes training on the system IAW Army standard POI following approved course instructional times.
• Examine doctrine, plans, policies and procedures that will enhance and enrich the training environment.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine
• Served as assistant instructor for the same courseware
• Completed a formal course of study and experience in Army MCIS and MCIS software systems
• Subject matter expert who has operated the system

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• At least 2 years of MCIS teaching experience and at least 4 years' service in support to the Army or other defense service.
