About This Role

This role involves processing, stocking, and distributing medical supplies and equipment within a healthcare facility. The Materials Associate ensures accuracy in transactions, safe handling of goods, and maintains organized storage areas to support patient care operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process transactions accurately and timely for receiving and returning physical goods, stock replenishments, or customer orders
  • Execute transactions using the management system, PC, and RF scanner technologies
  • Review and verify all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy
  • Operate all powered and non-powered equipment safely, transporting and storing goods to prevent damage
  • Supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment
  • Remove non-functional equipment and supplies from service and report problems for corrective action
  • Inspect working and storage areas to ensure clean and orderly conditions
  • Comply with all department, System, and OSHA safety regulations and perform good housekeeping
  • Complete and submit daily inspection checklists for powered equipment when required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Entry level with equivalent and related work experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Equivalent and related work experience
  • Valid driver's license (no violations in last 3 years, depending on facility)
