Manage data management and strategy projects for clients, leading workstream delivery and ensuring timely, high-quality solutions. This role involves defining enterprise data strategies, implementing advanced technologies, and overseeing data governance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions to complex problems, recommending policy changes and establishing procedures
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results
- Manage project status and deliverable completion while ensuring effective risk management
- Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy including data quality, data catalog, and master data management
- Implement cutting-edge data quality tools and processes for data integrity assurance
- Engage in meticulous requirement gathering and collaborate with system analysts for source-to-target mappings
- Perform thorough examinations of data in source databases prior to migration into data warehouses
- Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of direct involvement with MDM tools
- Experience leading delivery teams in data governance, data management, and system implementations
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles
- Experience with Enterprise IT Architecture
- Proficiency in Metadata Management and Ontology Design
- Knowledge of IT Operating Models and Data Fabric
- Demonstrated leadership in managing a portfolio of large, complex projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field
- Typically, no less than 6 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 8 years direct involvement with MDM tools
