Business Tax Services - Private Tax - High Net Worth - Manager

About This Role

Manage complex tax planning and compliance projects for high-net-worth clients, including privately held companies and their owners, and mentor a team of tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Research tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies
• Translate complex data into client-ready insights and deliverables
• Build effective long-term relationships with clients
• Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients
• Maintain reputation in the field by updating and sharing technical knowledge
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals
• Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes

Requirements

• Significant tax, business or financial planning experience
• Membership in The Bar (if applicable)
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation
• Experience with flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLC’s)
• Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
