About This Role

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Adobe AEM solutions to enhance digital experiences for clients within the Marketing Transformation team. This role involves defining project requirements, establishing best practices, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical aspects of Adobe Experience Cloud implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and business partners to define requirements and design reusable templates, components, and services
  • Drive the adoption of the latest UI frameworks on the Adobe platform for modern web applications
  • Oversee platform integration with Adobe marketing cloud solutions like Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
  • Implement automation, continuous integration, and deployment best practices with QA and DevOps teams
  • Establish and enforce coding standards and development methodologies within the AEM team
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in digital experience management and Adobe products
  • Lead project delivery from inception to completion
  • Manage client relationships and engage in daily interactions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and development, specifically with AEMaaCS and EDS
  • Proficiency in Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, RESTful services, and client-side scripting
  • Familiarity with Java concepts and patterns, including Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, web services, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, and Maven
  • Experience with decoupled architectures and Agile development methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent spoken, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage difficult or ambiguous situations effectively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and development, specifically with AEMaaCS and EDS
