Master Data Management Manager - Consulting

About This Role

This role involves defining and implementing data management strategies for clients, focusing on advanced technologies and ensuring data integrity. The Manager will lead workstream delivery, engage with clients, and mentor teams to transform data into a strategic asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for complex problems and establish procedures for work areas
• Manage project status and deliverable completion, ensuring effective risk management
• Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy including data quality, MDM, analytics use cases, and AI/ML readiness
• Implement cutting-edge data quality tools and processes to maintain data standards
• Engage in requirement gathering, interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and collaborate with system analysts for source-to-target mappings
• Involved in strategic design, implementation, and optimization of data management solutions using Informatica and related tools
• Conduct thorough examinations of data within source databases prior to migration and generate detailed technical specifications
• Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality services and client satisfaction
• Architect, build pipelines, respond to RFPs, create new solutions, and manage in-flight projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field
• Typically, no less than 6 years relevant experience
• Minimum of 8 years of direct involvement with MDM tools
• Experience leading delivery teams in data governance, data management, and system implementations
• Strong understanding of Data Governance principles
• Experience with Enterprise IT Architecture
• Proficiency in Metadata Management and Ontology Design
• Knowledge of IT Operating Models and Data Fabric
• Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Emotional Agility
• Demonstrated leadership in managing a portfolio of large, complex projects and initiatives within the autonomous mobility space
• A valid driver’s license in the US and willingness/ability to travel internationally
• Track record of successful stakeholder engagement and ability to maintain/grow business relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience, with at least 8 years direct involvement with MDM tools
