Provide therapeutic massage services to patients in a hospital setting, addressing specific health concerns and enhancing their physical and emotional well-being as part of an Integrative Medicine team.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic massages on patients in accordance with individualized treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate massage therapy into patients' overall care plans
- Customize massage techniques and pressure levels to meet unique patient needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist
- License from Professional Regulatory Services
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Annual flu shot
Qualifications
- Some college or equivalent training program is preferred
- Minimum of two years’ of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist required
Nice to Have
- Certification in specialized massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and aromatherapy
