Marketing Specialist

About This Role

Manage a high-volume research request queue to support ad hoc data requests and pre-compiling research marketing materials. Utilize syndicated audience research tools and internal data to develop customer, retail, and product platform insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume research request queue for data requests and pre-compiled marketing materials
• Use syndicated audience research tools from comScore, Nielsen, GfK, eMarketer, Forrester, Simmons, Kantar, and more
• Synthesize third-party data with insights from internal, first-party Client data sources
• Create and deliver PowerPoint and Word documents for sales support and marketing purposes
• Design, develop, and maintain customer, retail category, and product purchase platform insights using proprietary data

Requirements

• 2+ years of media research or marketing experience
• Domain expertise with online advertising and/or media
• Extremely proficient power user of Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to tell compelling stories with data
• Degree or coursework in media, marketing, marketing research, economics, sociology, computer science, statistics, math, engineering, or other quantitative fields
• Marketing branding/strategy skills
• Data analysis skills
• Campaign management skills

Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in media, marketing, marketing research, economics, sociology, computer science, statistics, math, engineering, or other quantitative fields
• 2+ years of media research or marketing experience

Nice to Have

• Experience managing a reactive, ticket-based request system
• Experience working with advertising sales executives
• Familiarity with syndicated marketing data providers
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com
• Familiarity with ClearSlide
• Comfort with or exposure to basic statistics
• PowerPoint and Excel (formulas) skills
• Digital marketing experience
• Social media marketing experience
