Marketing Specialist

About This Role

This role will support marketing efforts within the accounting and finance industry, focusing on email campaigns, content creation, and engaging with industry thought leaders. It offers hands-on experience and growth potential in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the monthly and annual marketing plan provided by the Head of Marketing
• Create and administer compelling email marketing campaigns
• Design and create sales & marketing materials
• Produce thoughtful, engaging, and well-researched copy for the website and social media, focusing on accounting and finance industry insights
• Identify and nurture online and offline growth opportunities through partnerships, podcast and webinar collaborations, and events
• Identify and engage with key thought leaders and industry influencers in the accounting and finance space
• Conduct online research to locate individuals and their content
• Create value-added content, comments, and other forms of engagement to build relationships with influencers
• Demonstrate credible knowledge of accounting and finance industry trends and insights in all communications

Requirements

• Familiarity with marketing software platforms like Apollo and Hubspot
• Competence and attention to detail with major software platforms like Canva, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outgoing personality, naturally persuasive, and love to write and build meaningful relationships
• Strong understanding of the accounting and finance industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, accounting, finance, business, psychology, or a similar related discipline
• Previous similar experience preferred, though exposure to accounting or professional services through an internship or prior job would be advantageous.
