About This Role

The Marketing & Media Coordinator executes Bandit Lites’ marketing, public relations, and media strategies across both digital and traditional platforms. This role manages media communications, updates company channels, and strengthens the company’s brand and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative public relations and marketing campaigns that enhance the image and positioning of Bandit Lites
  • Ensure all messaging reflects the company’s mission, values, and core offerings
  • Proactively monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new media and marketing opportunities
  • Manage all company social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X), including developing platform-specific content strategies and creating original photo and video content
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring that posts are scheduled and aligned with company events, shows, and key promotions
  • Collaborate with the website team to update and maintain the company website and intranet
  • Audit and enhance the SEO structure of the Bandit Lites website, optimizing metadata, keywords, and content for search visibility
  • Write and publish press releases and about relevant company projects on the company website
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and handle media inquiries
  • Coordinate Bandit Lites’ participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and live events, managing event logistics

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proven experience in crafting press releases, managing media outreach, and securing media coverage across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing social media accounts, creating content, and analyzing performance metrics across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content for both traditional media and social media channels
  • Ability to independently ideate, script, shoot, and edit original content
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems
  • Experience in answering phones, managing general office communications, and familiarity with remote entry systems
  • Experience in shooting and editing photos and videos for promotional use on websites, social media, and press materials
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) best practices
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in crafting press releases, managing media outreach, securing media coverage, managing social media accounts, creating content, and analyzing performance metrics

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva)
