Manufacturing Installation Technician

About This Role

The Manufacturing Installation Technician supports manufacturing operations by installing, commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing production machinery and systems. This role collaborates with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and decommission manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Support dust collection, compressed air, and electrical systems compliant with company and industry standards
• Assist production management with equipment maintenance, operation, and training
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and performance of production equipment and systems
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities
• Support manufacturing process design and improvements using statistical and analytical methods
• Identify opportunities to improve production speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately
• Perform welding tasks as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence

Requirements

• Experience working with manufacturing machinery and production systems
• Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Broad technical understanding of manufacturing process design
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of statistical or process improvement methods
• Welding experience
