About This Role

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant electrical systems and equipment for a client, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and contributing to overall plant productivity. This role involves electrical equipment installation, diagnostics, and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment and components including conductors, instrumentation, lighting, motors, controls, wiring, relays, transformers, and conduit per NEC standards
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems methodically and perform repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and instrumentation installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematics
  • Calibrate and adjust electrical/electronic equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Use SAP to document work progress and communicate support needs
  • Conduct annual ground resistance testing and preventive maintenance on HVAC and compressed air drying equipment
  • Maintain a safe work environment, complying with OSHA/MSHA regulations
  • Respond to off-hour call-outs as required
  • Estimate material requirements for work preparation and requisition materials as needed
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, Technical School completion, or Apprenticeship program (or equivalent training/experience)
  • Working knowledge of NEC code, electrical standards, pressure and temperature transmitters, PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, and controls
  • Minimum 3 years industrial experience in electrical support and maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record and willingness to travel to other quarry sites
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends or nights

Qualifications
