Maintenance Team Lead – Heavy Equipment

About This Role

Lead shift-based maintenance activities for quarry operations, overseeing heavy equipment reliability and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. Coordinate with site leadership and mentor maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance mechanics during assigned shifts
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair quarry equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and heavy machinery
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and parts inventory
• Coordinate with site leadership to prioritize repair schedules
• Train and mentor maintenance team members
• Respond to urgent equipment issues and coordinate emergency repairs
• Promote a strong safety culture and report unsafe conditions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of industrial or heavy-equipment maintenance experience
• Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
