The Manager, Product Management on the Card Acquisitions Servicing team drives innovation in Capital One's lending ecosystem by building end-to-end, real-time, and intelligent experiences to fuel growth in card acquisitions. This role involves working horizontally across platforms and solving complex multi-domain problems as a thought leader at the interface of business and technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop an end-to-end understanding of Decisioning as a Service platforms and surrounding ecosystems to anticipate system interplay
- Drive Card Acquisitions financial-core modernization to completion, transitioning from legacy vendor to internally built core to unlock data processing flows
- Systematically partner with internal business unit customers to understand their strategic priorities and needs from Decisioning Platforms
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams across platforms to create continuous feedback loops to improve acquisitions service capabilities and move to self-serve
- Understand long term roadmaps across decisioning ecosystem and feed that into scoping/prioritization of business initiatives to create efficiencies
- Socialize and refine complex acquisitions initiatives by collaborating with capability product/engineering leads and architecture to create solutions
- Identify the full set of resources needed for delivery of groomed initiatives and drive prioritization and trade-off conversations as necessary
- Partner with Ops, Legal/Compliance, Data governance and Risk to identify if new controls or updates are needed for well managed launch of initiatives
- Lead development and execution of end to end testing scenarios and validations to launch new initiatives in a well-managed way
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
