Lead communications strategies for an executive leader within the Banking & Premium Products businesses, developing and executing comprehensive strategies to connect leaders and teams with top-level business goals. Drive internal communications to support business programs and cultivate a positive associate experience, pushing for innovative and engaging approaches.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a communications strategy to build the executive leader's internal and external brand and bring team narratives to life
- Curate engaging experiences including leadership gatherings, all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling, and special events
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive communicators and chiefs of staff to plan and prepare effective internal communications
- Lead change management communications in support of the business when necessary
- Draft leader talking points and review presentations
- Provide counsel on communicating business strategy, elevating leadership profiles, managing issues, and implementing corporate initiatives
- Evaluate performance for communications based on real-time metrics and KPIs; recommend refinements to strategies and messaging
- Partner with and influence internal partners to serve the best interests of the business and employees
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies
- 5+ years of experience in partnering with c-suite executives on communications
- 5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects
- Strong business acumen and customer-orientation
- Excellent writing and story-telling skills
- Ability to distill complex content into clear, concise, and engaging communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies, partnering with c-suite executives on communications, and managing multiple projects.
Nice to Have
- Masters Degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, writing, or public relations
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, technology, or other highly regulated industry
- Experience managing issues, crisis communications, and organizational change communications
