Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role involves performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles, homes, and facilities, ensuring quality care for clients in a community living environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per the Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Assist with vehicle, home, or facility inspections as directed.
• Assist in pest control as required.
• Complete minor repairs including patching, painting, furniture repair, doorknob/lock repair, and clearing drain/toilet obstructions.
• Repair washers, dryers, dishwashers, and small appliances.
• Replace light bulbs and cover plates.
• Assist with any vehicle repair as needed.
• Execute repairs without direct instruction when necessary.
• Complete purchase orders and ensure receipt is obtained.
• Clear driveways and sidewalks of snow and apply materials to prevent slipping on ice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid State Driver's License

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year maintenance experience preferred
