Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role is for a seasoned Maintenance Technician in the food processing industry, responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment, ensuring smooth operation, and collaborating with department supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in equipment
• Repair and replace equipment as needed or as scheduled
• Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance service on assigned machines and equipment
• Respond to calls for assistance with unplanned machine breakdowns
• Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge of how equipment works
• Electrical knowledge of single and three phase power
• Basic computer and tablet skills

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in mechanical work is preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems
