Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role involves assisting with the installation and maintenance of equipment, mechanical systems, and machines. The Maintenance Technician will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum production and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality
• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, report to Maintenance Supervisor, and take appropriate action
• Analyze mechanical and operational problems, make necessary corrections, and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to read and understand manufacturer's instructions, blueprints, and isometric drawings
• Ability to safely use power and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED desired
