Maintenance Technician

About This Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems in small to medium-sized buildings and industrial facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of building systems and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
• 1-2 years of job-related experience or a combination of experience and education
