Perform crucial maintenance on facility and production equipment for a large food manufacturing plant, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality product output by working with various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety processes and insist on safety practices of self and others
- Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly
- Monitor performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance
- Perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment
- Document work accordingly
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
- Multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Qualifications
- 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
Nice to Have
- 1 to 3+ years' experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps
- LOTO experience
- Forklift experience
