About This Role

This role involves maintaining the physical property and grounds of the JdV by Hyatt hotel in Brooklyn, performing necessary repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
• Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms with proper documentation
• Uses supplies issued for cleaning and maintenance duties carefully and efficiently
• Responds to maintenance requests received from other departments in a timely manner
• Provides excellent service and demeanor to all guests
• Maintains storerooms in a clean, neat, and organized state
• Maintains hotel, guest rooms, bar and restaurant to JDV Hyatt and Midas Hospitality standards

Qualifications

• Facilities maintenance experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Facilities maintenance experience
• Certifications such as HVAC, OSHA
• FLSD completion
