Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role involves performing maintenance on facilities and production equipment to ensure the plant's operational efficiency and product quality. The technician will be responsible for installation, ongoing maintenance, and repairs of various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safety practices of self and others
• Monitor performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance
• Perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment
• Document maintenance work accordingly
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
• Able to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience

Nice to Have

• 1 to 3+ years’ experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps
• LOTO experience
• Forklift experience
