Maintenance Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise all maintenance operations for the property, including resident service requests, preventative maintenance, and personnel management. Ensure excellent curb appeal and deliver exceptional customer service while complying with safety and budget guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance, minimize liability concerns, and ensure excellent curb appeal
• Assist the Property Manager in the management of excellent customer service experience for residents, clients, vendors, and employees
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor service requests to the maintenance team to ensure completion on time
• Lead, supervise, and train new maintenance team members, including performance management and team development
• Maintain and conduct a preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the asset while minimizing future repairs
• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities and follow up to ensure completion
• Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage while adhering to budget guidelines and safety standards
• Schedule and direct workers in the performance of all maintenance/repairs related to turn events within budgeted guidelines
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site and conduct safety inspections
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation

Requirements

• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of local and state codes for permitting, sign ordinances, and pool regulations (when applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in the student housing/multifamily industry
• HVAC certification
• EPA certification
