Maintenance Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise all maintenance operations for residential communities, ensuring safety, functionality, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing service requests, unit preparations, inventory, and vendor oversight, while potentially supporting new property openings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete resident service requests, routine repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and repairs
• Monitor the overall cleanliness and appearance of buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Supervise and inspect work completed by vendors, contractors, and team members
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools within budgetary guidelines
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Assist with setup and stabilization of new communities
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to after-hours maintenance emergencies

Requirements

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical equipment, and basic office software
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
