Lead all maintenance operations for a high-volume industrial facility in Tampa, ensuring safe and efficient functioning of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and robotics. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex systems, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to optimize uptime and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance activities for conveyor systems, automated material-handling equipment, robotics, and facility infrastructure
- Ensure safe operation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Monitor performance of equipment and reduce unplanned downtime through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
- Develop, implement, and manage PM programs aligned with best practices for industrial facilities
- Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, and schedules through CMMS platforms
- Track recurring failures and implement long-term corrective actions
- Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring technical proficiency and growth
- Enforce compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Oversee facility utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, and general infrastructure maintenance
- Identify opportunities to improve throughput, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automated operations
- Strong technical expertise with conveyors, robotics, industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with CMMS systems, maintenance scheduling, and asset management
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout, and industrial safety practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automated operations
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-volume industrial environments involving automation and material-handling systems
- Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, automation)
- Safety certifications (CSP, OSHA 30)
- Experience supporting process improvement frameworks such as Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma
