Maintenance Manager

About This Role

Lead all maintenance operations for a high-volume industrial facility in Tampa, ensuring safe and efficient functioning of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and robotics. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex systems, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to optimize uptime and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities for conveyor systems, automated material-handling equipment, robotics, and facility infrastructure
• Ensure safe operation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Monitor performance of equipment and reduce unplanned downtime through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
• Develop, implement, and manage PM programs aligned with best practices for industrial facilities
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, and schedules through CMMS platforms
• Track recurring failures and implement long-term corrective actions
• Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring technical proficiency and growth
• Enforce compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• Oversee facility utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, and general infrastructure maintenance
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automated operations
• Strong technical expertise with conveyors, robotics, industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with CMMS systems, maintenance scheduling, and asset management
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout, and industrial safety practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automated operations

Nice to Have

• Experience in high-volume industrial environments involving automation and material-handling systems
• Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, automation)
• Safety certifications (CSP, OSHA 30)
• Experience supporting process improvement frameworks such as Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma
