Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with codes and providing excellent customer service. This role involves working with security systems, audio/video systems, and telecommunications equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install and program security, audio/video, and telecom systems
- Troubleshoot wiring and connectivity issues
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- 1+ year of commercial low voltage experience
- Proven ability to terminate, run Cat5/6, and punch down to a block
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (associate degree or technical certificate preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial low voltage/electrical systems
