Logistics Associate - Material Handler

About This Role

Serve as a Logistics Associate, responsible for locating, picking, and delivering materials according to sales and production orders, while operating industrial equipment and maintaining inventory accuracy within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Locate parts specified in sales and production orders
• Pick materials and verify correct part numbers and quantities
• Operate industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
• Deliver material to product lines on an hourly basis (or faster)
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Develop and provide feedback for improvements and assist with implementation
• Maintain 5S system in work area
• Manage all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn/identify differences in product series for accurate deliveries
• Able to frequently lift at least 30 lbs
• Able to stand and walk 90% of working time
• Able to operate a forklift and RFID scanner
• Able to navigate computer systems and operate a printer
• Must demonstrate ability to perform all job assignments on a rotating basis
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Qualifications
