The Loan Officer will assist clients through the loan application process, provide expert advice on loan products, and ensure seamless transactions. This role involves building rapport with clients, analyzing financial situations, and determining appropriate loan products to meet their goals.
Responsibilities
- Speak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements and consult on suitable loan options
- Serve as the primary contact for borrowers throughout the loan application process, partnering with the operations team
- Utilize technology to manage a large pipeline and assist with purchase transactions via a nationwide realtor referral network
- Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in Consumer Lending Sales or similar
- High school diploma
- Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry (Correspondent or Retail Lending, sales, operations, capital markets, products, services)
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations
- Intermediate computer skills including Encompass (LOS), Velocify (CRM), and MS Office
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of related experience in Consumer Lending Sales or similar field
