As a Senior Transaction Manager, you will negotiate trade contracts, manage multiple Secondary Market transactions, and cultivate investor relationships. You will lead the due diligence, settlement, and servicing transfer processes for whole loan and mortgage servicing rights sales.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate non-disclosure agreements, trade confirmations, purchase confirmations, and purchase and sale agreements related to whole loan sales and mortgage servicing rights sales transactions
- Coordinate the execution of bailee letters and the shipment of collateral files to investors’ custodians
- Monitor due diligence process to ensure timely follow up for resolution of data and collateral defects
- Ensure all data delivered to the investor is accurate and complete and all loans meet trade parameters
- Identify and confirm the final funding population with investors and facilitate the settlement process
- Coordinate and monitor the servicing transfer process between investors and the servicing department
- Lead and develop a team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience in Capital Markets Transaction Management or similar field
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including sales, operations, capital markets, and/or other residential mortgage products and services
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel and the ability to create ad hoc reports and analyses using functions such as nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables
- Expert speaking and writing communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- 7+ years of related experience in Capital Markets Transaction Management or similar field
