Senior Transaction Manager

About This Role

Manage complex Secondary Market transactions and investor relationships, including negotiating trade contracts, coordinating due diligence, and facilitating settlement processes within the residential mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationship with investors and establish timelines for due diligence and settlement deliverables
• Negotiate non-disclosure agreements, trade confirmations, purchase confirmations, and purchase and sale agreements for whole loan and mortgage servicing rights transactions
• Coordinate the execution of bailee letters and shipment of collateral files to investor custodians, ensuring releases are obtained
• Monitor due diligence process to resolve data and collateral defects and confirm data accuracy
• Identify and confirm final funding population with investors, facilitate settlement, reprice trades, prepare closing documentation, and communicate settlement funds
• Coordinate and monitor servicing transfer process between investors and the servicing department
• Prepare monthly management reports

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in residential mortgage industry and capital markets
• 7+ years' experience reviewing and negotiating legal contracts for Capital Market transactions
• Proficiency with Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 10+ years of related experience in residential mortgage industry, capital markets; Minimum 7 years' experience reviewing and negotiating legal contracts related to Capital Market transactions.
