About This Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver hands-on patient care within a correctional healthcare setting, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support care planning, playing a vital role in a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions
Provide wound care and change dressings
Support documentation and care planning
Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
Serve as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

Requirements

Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice
1-2 years of nursing experience
Active CPR certification
Strong clinical and communication skills
Adaptability in high-pressure settings
A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care

Qualifications

1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred)
