As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver hands-on patient care within a correctional healthcare setting, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support care planning, playing a vital role in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
- Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions
- Provide wound care and change dressings
- Support documentation and care planning
- Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
- Serve as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
Requirements
- Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice
- 1-2 years of nursing experience
- Active CPR certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Adaptability in high-pressure settings
- A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred)
