About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ensures efficient and effective nursing care delivery, achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction, and operating within state and federal regulations. This role involves directing nursing care during assigned shifts, including staff assignments, mentoring, and collaborating with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care
• Achieve positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction
• Operate within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act
• Be responsible for resident care and direction of nursing care during assigned shift
• Make staff assignments
• Mentor and educate nursing personnel
• Work with physicians and other medical professionals

Requirements

• Active and in good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
