About This Role

This role is for an independent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who desires flexibility and control over their work schedule. You will assist RNs and physicians, administering medication and treatment, and performing patient observations and basic diagnostic tests.

Responsibilities

Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment
Perform patient observation
Perform specific procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs, measuring and recording weight and height, and running other diagnostic tests
Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid LPN license in Illinois
