Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatrics)

About This Role

Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients, administering medications, conducting thorough assessments, and performing back office duties as directed by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients under physician direction
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Observe, conduct, and document a thorough assessment of patient's medical status during entire course of treatment
• Perform assigned back office duties
• Rotate as a telephone triage nurse in an efficient and professional manner
• Perform all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school
• Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school
