Licensed Practical Nurse

About This Role

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time night shifts to provide appropriate nursing care, gather and report data, carry out physician orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality patient care consistent with PAM Health's policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out physician orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner
• Adhere to the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
