Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Autumn Glen, a Sonida Senior Living community, responsible for directing nursing assistants, administering medications, and ensuring adequate supplies for resident care in an Assisted Living facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pull and prepare patient charts
• Perform other general office duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Current and unencumbered LPN license

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required
