Driver Activities Assistant

About This Role

This role is responsible for safely transporting residents and assisting with community activities at a retirement community, ensuring their well-being and positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely
• Operate vehicles in a safe and clean fashion
• Assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning, organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and general setup for programs
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect, reporting any instances to the Executive Director
• Act as a positive representative of the community at all times

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift in excess of 50lbs

Nice to Have

• CDL endorsement
