Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

This role allows Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to build their own schedule, choose healthcare facilities, and set their own rates by bidding on per diem shifts primarily assisting RNs and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment
• Observe and monitor patients
• Perform specific procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs, measuring and recording weight and height, and running other diagnostic tests
• Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois
