This role allows Licensed Practical Nurses to build their own schedules and take control of their careers by bidding on per diem shifts at various healthcare facilities, empowering them to achieve a better work/life balance and earn extra income.
Responsibilities
- Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment
- Monitor patients through observation
- Perform specific procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs, measuring and recording weight and height, and running other diagnostic tests
- Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients
- Assist Registered Nurses and physicians in keeping patients comfortable and on the road to recovery
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid LPN license in Ohio
