About This Role

Provide essential nursing care and support to patients under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and educate patients and families on health management while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories
  • Assist with patient hygiene and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention
  • Perform wound care and assist with minor surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Respond to patient calls and concerns in a timely manner
  • Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid as needed
  • Participate in training and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
  • Complete required organizational compliance education

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN)
  • Current, full, active LPN license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e. Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia
  • 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card

Qualifications

  • Certificate from an accredited Practical nursing program
  • 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
