This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse within the Behavioral Health Addiction Treatment unit, responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This caregiver will assume accountability for a group of patients at Arnot Health.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients
- Provide care under the supervision/direction of a registered nurse
- Report to the Director of the assigned department
Requirements
- Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or by the licensing authority of another state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or by the licensing authority of another state
Nice to Have
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) in critical care units
