Lead Teacher

About This Role

Lead Teachers at The Learning Experience create meaningful moments for children, families, and communities by setting an academic foundation for lifelong learning. They inspire joy, curiosity, and confidence in young minds through classroom leadership and curriculum implementation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and collaborate to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming classroom space
• Masterfully bring to life the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children
• Prioritize a safe, nurturing environment for children
• Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals
• Cultivate warm relationships with families and colleagues fostering an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly

Requirements

• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role
• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Extended experience in a childcare setting with classroom leadership roles
• Meet state and federal immunization, employment physical, and health and safety training requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred
• Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership roles
