Lead Teacher

About This Role

As a Lead Teacher, you will create and implement interactive learning experiences, promote the growth of preschool children, and build relationships with families in a child care center environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success

Requirements

• Experience leading a classroom
• Ability to create educational lesson plans
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Must be at least 18 years old
