About This Role

The Child Care Center Housekeeper ensures a clean, safe, and organized environment for children to learn and grow. This role is integral to the health and safety of the childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition
• Complete janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms
• Gather and empty trash
• Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls
• Refill dispensers in restrooms
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
• Meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements
