About This Role

Manage the entire product lifecycle for FirstNet Program products within AT&T Global Public Sector, ensuring seamless transitions, budget management, and alignment with market needs. This role involves defining requirements, conducting market research, and developing product roadmaps to support Federal Government customers and first responders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life.
  • Manage budgets, acquire estimates, and handle requests for funding through the capital process.
  • Coordinate with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing.
  • Translate and document customer and technical requirements into final product designs.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive business cases.
  • Provide detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze customer needs and identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements.
  • Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, revenue potential, customer segments, and opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analysis on defined markets, including volumes and revenue results.
  • Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans.
  • Define and drive initiatives to grow revenue and margin.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the public safety ecosystem around PSAP call taking and dispatch
  • Familiarity with 9-1-1/ESInet technologies, call handling/dispatch software and Push To Talk (radio and broadband)
  • Familiarity with interoperability benefits and challenges between public safety communication systems
  • Facility with constructing mutual value propositions and finding “win-win” opportunities between organizations
  • Ability to apply broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead critical, high-impact projects and design/implement innovative business strategies.
  • Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related experience, with a strong preference in Public Safety

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
