Lead Instructional Coach, Alpha

About This Role

As a Lead Instructional Coach, you will develop and mentor Guides to ensure every student achieves enthusiasm for school, accelerated learning, and mastery of life skills within Alpha's transformative educational model. You will deliver expert coaching, dynamic facilitation, and data-informed feedback to drive exceptional student engagement and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train Guides to facilitate Alpha's workshops at a world-class standard
• Build Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and solutions to common obstacles
• Deliver consistent, practical feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and outcomes
• Coach a small student cohort directly, demonstrating exemplary mentoring and motivational techniques
• Uphold the expectation of 100% excellence in all aspects of educational delivery

Requirements

• Currently located in, or prepared to relocate for on-site work at one of Alpha's campuses
• 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a closely related area
• Proven track record of creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions
• Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with experience building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams
• Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
• Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a closely related area
